009 Agency does Generative Engine Optimization for Ukrainian brands: we make them visible, cited and chosen inside AI answers across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok and DeepSeek — and we re-measure it every two weeks against a logged baseline. Most of the Ukrainian companies we audit sell abroad, and Ukraine is their talent market or their home market second; a Kyiv real-estate group with Ukraine first in its brief measured 7 of 24 on Ukrainian prompts, and a game co-development group with the best recall in our dataset had its brand split across three domains.
This page is the Ukrainian read on the same question we ask everywhere: what do buyers search, whom do the engines name, and what decides it. The numbers are Google Ads volumes for Ukraine from August 2026 in Ukrainian, and a live shelf test run in Ukrainian on 5 September 2026.
what Ukrainian buyers search
| query | searches / month | top-of-page bid | read |
|---|---|---|---|
| seo агентство | 390 | $9 | volatile: 2,400 in march, 20 in may, 260 in august |
| seo агенція | 140 | $23 | the Ukrainian-spelled variant, steadier and pricier |
| generative engine optimization · geo seo | 90 · 90 | $2–3 | the GEO terms, searched in English inside Ukraine |
| llm seo · geo аудит | 20 · 10 | — | the long tail |
| geo агентство · просування в chatgpt | below threshold | — | no measurable demand for the agency term |
Read together: the Ukrainian category is the smallest of the five markets on this site, and the GEO terms are searched in English. Ukrainian buyers of GEO are mostly companies selling abroad, which is also what we see in our audits.
what the Ukrainian shelf looked like on 5 september 2026
We asked ChatGPT (gpt-5.5, web search on) and Perplexity (sonar-pro), in Ukrainian, which agencies in Ukraine do GEO and brand visibility in ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews. Logged verbatim.
| engine | who was named | what the answer was built from |
|---|---|---|
| ChatGPT | Tolk Agency, Soft Plus, Spilno, AI SEO Ukraine, Chyzh, F-47, UAMASTER, Algorithmix, SEOGeeks | the agencies’ own pages, one each, and a Ukrainian rating site |
| Perplexity | SEOGeeks, Aweb, UAMASTER, Sprava, 8K Digital, SEO-Studio, ITForce, Dash, LinkBuilder, Inweb, Searchai, PROject SEO, AdverMedia, SEO-Gen, WebPromo, Upcorn | geo-rating-agencies.com.ua first — a rating published by one digital marketer with a stated Bayesian method and “positions are not sold”; then the agencies’ pages and two IT-rating sites |
Three things decide the Ukrainian shelf.
The two largest SEO brands in the country are not on it. Netpeak, founded 2006 with six hundred staff and a GEO service naming four engines, and SeoProfy, with two hundred specialists, were named by neither engine. Both had led the Ukrainian AI shelf in our August measurement. A GEO page and a rating entry beat scale: SEOGeeks, named by both engines, has about thirty organic visits a month in Ukraine.
One person’s rating writes Perplexity’s list. geo-rating-agencies.com.ua is published by an individual marketer, scores fifty parameters with Bayesian averaging from Clutch and Google Maps, and states that positions are not sold. It has no measurable organic traffic. Perplexity cited it first and took its top ten. In Poland the equivalent shelf-maker measures rankings weekly; in Ukraine it reads reviews. Both are more independent than the agency-published lists that run the US, UK, Germany and Dubai.
The engines mis-shelve by language. Perplexity put Aweb, a Warsaw agency, on the Ukrainian list because its site speaks to Ukrainian-speaking clients. In Poland the same engine put agencjageo.com, an English-language domain, on the Polish list. The engine reads the language of the page, not the registration.
where 009 stands in Ukraine, honestly
Ukraine is home for part of our team and the home market in several of our audits — a Kyiv real-estate group briefed Ukraine first, a game co-development group, a padel brand, a licensing firm with a Ukrainian locale — and we have no Ukrainian organic footprint and no place on either shelf above. Our Ukrainian work so far has been measuring Ukrainian companies for markets abroad, which is what most of them asked for. The home-market bench starts with the first client who sells at home.
what the first 90 days look like
The order is the same as everywhere, because it has to be: readable, then verifiable, then quotable. What changes per market is the language of the prompts, the directories the engines read, and who publishes the lists.
- Audit. The prompts your buyers actually ask, in the language they ask them, run live through the engines and logged verbatim, plus crawler checks with real AI user-agents. You get a health score, the shelf in this market today, and the three most expensive gaps. Complimentary. what is inside →
- Make the entity local and machine-readable. One organisation record with the local registration, address and languages; the local directories and review platforms the engines cited above resolving to you. Shipped as files your developer applies. technical GEO →
- Publish what gets quoted, in the right language. Ukrainian for the home market and English for the export one, and the audit tells you which prompts your buyers actually type in which language. In one audit ChatGPT translated Ukrainian prompts to English before searching; Perplexity searched in Ukrainian and ranked the client first. Each engine gets the corpus it reads.
- Get onto the lists that decide this market. For Ukraine today: the rating site Perplexity read, Clutch and the IT-rating directories, DOU and the trade press — identified from your own Ukrainian panel, not from a generic outreach list.
- Re-measure. Same panel, same language, every review, reported as a delta. Series, not screenshots.
proof, and its limits
No Ukrainian home-market client is on retainer, so there is no Ukrainian program result on this page. The measured result we can point to is from an EU legal client that went from 0/5 to 4/5 engines naming it on its category prompt by day 17 (July 2026), with the log published. The Ukrainian-specific evidence is the Ukrainian columns of our audits and the tables above.
one thing we will not do
We will not measure a Ukrainian brand only in English because that is easier. In the sourcing audit ChatGPT translated the Ukrainian prompt to English and never saw the client’s Ukrainian corpus; Perplexity searched in Ukrainian and ranked the client first. A Ukrainian panel runs in both languages on every engine, or it is not a Ukrainian panel.
